Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Great fresh fish with daily specials just off the boat (the fish market is literally next door). Good recommendation from the waiter on the local wine - Bermejo - it was excellent."
"What a find on our first night in Playa Blanca! Food was delicious and service was friendly and efficient. We ate at 18.00 on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was fairly quiet however by the time we left it was extremely busy. Would recommend booking if you’re eating late."
"Delicious fresh seafood! That's all we wanted and we got it plus a few extras as in freshly baked hot bread rolls with 3 dips and a beautiful goats cheese salad.. The seafood was mussels mariniere, garlic prawns and rolled fish which were all delicious. Highly recommend this place with its friendly staff and which is very close to the ferry terminal. We'll be there again on our next visit to Lanzarote!"
"I ended up loving my lunch here beyond my expectations. I skipped the terrace which did not provide much shade and ended up in a small cafe that hosted a bunch of local patrons who seemed to be at home here. Waiter was attentive and communicated with me in English. I loved my grilled calamari dish, local potatoes with red and green sauce complemented the dish perfectly. House wine was perfectly nice and so was barraquito. Merry locals and singing waiter made this a memorable experience. I am glad I was not discouraged by a generic-looking menu, this felt like a lovely local tavern, not a tourist trap."
"Very good food, good price and generous portions. Personnel very nice and friendly! I definitely recommend you go and eat here!"
"We came specifically to try the paella, but ended up ordering the Sama fish instead—and it was an excellent choice. The fish was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back to try the paella next time. For anyone wondering (as many people were asking), the price of the paella is already €32 for two people. Our total was €53, which included the fish, a beer, and a barraquito. Overall, a great experience and very good quality for the price."
"Thanks! Absolutely superb quality of the food! And super good prices! You have also easy parking !"
"Been a few times over the last few years and it never disappoints. Just outside of the main area of town, on the port side and connected to the local fish market. Really good value for money, basic seafood dishes enjoyed with a cold beer or sangria."
